Heure & Repères app (fr.chabeaudyq.momhelp) — developer: Quentin Chabeaudy — last updated: July 26, 2026

Heure & Repères is a simple always-on screen that shows the day, the time, the next appointment and medication reminders, to help its user get their bearings through the day. The app works first and foremost locally, on the device: appointments and medication reminders entered in the app are stored on the device and do not leave it, unless you turn on the settings backup described below. Every optional feature involving data processing is detailed here.

Google sign-in serves two distinct, independent purposes, each enabled separately in the settings:

Data we collect

DataWhenPurpose
Email address and Google account identifier Only if you sign in with Google (optional), for either purpose Authenticating you to read your calendar and/or to tie the settings backup to your account (Google Sign-In, Firebase Authentication)
Your upcoming calendar events (event titles and times) Only if you connect Google Calendar Read read-only on your device to display your next appointment. Never modified, and never sent to or stored on any server run by the app (Google Calendar API)
App settings: appointments entered in the app (labels and times), tracked treatments (medication names and times of day), the direct-call contact's name and phone number, display and voice preferences Only if you turn on the settings backup (optional) Backing up your settings to your Google account (Cloud Firestore, encrypted in transit, readable by your account only) so a new tablet can be restored. The contact's photo is never uploaded, nor are the day's medication confirmations
Anonymous usage statistics (screens viewed, features used, aggregated counters — never your appointment or event titles) At all times Understanding usage and improving the app (Google Analytics for Firebase)
Crash and performance diagnostics (device model, OS and app version, stack traces, performance traces) At all times Diagnosing crashes and monitoring performance (Firebase Crashlytics & Performance)

The app also downloads its configuration (feature toggles and settings) from Firebase Remote Config; this is a download of configuration only — no personal data is sent in the process, and never any appointment data.

Heure & Repères' use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar access is requested read-only.

What we do not do

Third-party services used

Retention

Calendar events are read on the device to display the next appointment and are not retained by the app. Usage and diagnostic statistics are kept for at most 14 months. The Google sign-in token stays on your device until you sign out. Local data (appointments and medications entered, settings) stays on your device until you uninstall the app; like any Android app, it may be included in the device's encrypted Android backup (a Google service), restored if you reinstall. If you turned on the settings backup, the copy tied to your Google account is kept until you ask for its deletion (see below); turning the backup off stops uploads but keeps the existing copy, so you can restore it later.

Deleting your account and your data

Signing in with Google is optional and revocable at any time. If you turned on the settings backup, you can request deletion of the remote copy. The detailed procedure (in the app, from your Google account, or by email) is described on the dedicated page: account deletion request.

Children

The app is a personal scheduling aid and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

This policy may evolve along with the app; the date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
